Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Marry in Spring 2018 Wedding

by -

Prince Harry announced that he is “thrilled” to be marrying his girlfriend Meghan Markle, an American actress. Following powerful rumors, the official announcement has now been made from Clarence House.

The Wedding Will be in Spring 2018

The newly engaged couple have been dating for a year and a half, since the summer of 2016. Following the official engagement announcement, they headed to London’s Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden, where they posed for photographs and where the world got their first glimpse of her ring. Kensington Palace will be their residence once they’re married.

The couple agreed that the proposal was a romantic one. In an interview, they described the moment, which occurred as they were roasting a chicken for their dinner. The fifth in line to the British throne got down on one knee with a ring and a prepared proposal. Ms. Markle said that she was completely surprised and asked if she could accept even before he had finished asking. When asked how she was feeling in a media interview, she said she was “so very happy, thank you.”

Prince Harry Knew She “Was The One.”

According to the prince, he knew from “The very first time we met,” that she “was the one.”

Prince Harry designed the engagement ring himself, featuring a gold band and two diamonds that had belonged to his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. At the centre of a ring is a diamond from Botswana, a country where Prince Harry and Ms. Markle spent considerable time together since they’ve been dating.

Prince Charles has also stated that he was “thrilled” with the engagement. He also said that the parents of the bride-to-be had also given their blessing. “Other close members of his family,” including the Queen were already aware of the engagement, which occurred in London earlier in November, tweeted Prince Charles.

The official engagement announcement was made by Clarence House, the official residence of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. That release added that additional details regarding the wedding day itself would follow “in due course.”

A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace quoted the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh as being “delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.”
